Kaddu ya Pumkin Halwa
Ingredients
- 2 cups Grated ripe yellow pumpkin
- 2 cups milk
- 200g Milk Solid or Mawa
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup nuts (almonds, raisins, cashews)
- 2 cardamom (powder)
- 1 pinch saffron
- 1 Table Spoon ghee.
- 1/2 cup dry coconut (Grated).
Method
- Peel and wash the pumpkin.
- Grate the pumpkin boil with water.
- After cooling drain all the water by squeezing with hand.
- Take oil in pan add the pumpkin and milk and cook on low flame.
- When the pumpkin absorbs all the milk then add milk solid saffron.
- Add sugar and Stair continuously until dry.
- Add cardamom power and nuts mix well.
- Garnish with grated coconut and serve hot.
