South Indian Style bottle gourdCurry
Ingredients
- 1 small fresh bottle gourd
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 1-2 tomato (chopped)
- 2 tsp fresh grated coconut
- 3 tsp rosted peanuts seeds
- 5-6 garlic cloves
- 2-3 green chili
- 1/4tsp turmeric powder (Haldi)
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds (Jeera)
- 2 tsp oil
- Salt as per taste
Method
- Peel and cut the bootle gourd into small pieces.
- Pressure cook bottle gourd pieces with , chooped tomato, green chili,turmeric powder and salt without add any water.
- Take 1 spoon oil in a pan and saute onion and garlic for 2 minuts and turn off the gas after cooling down, Grind onion,garlic, grated coconut and peanuts everything together.
- Now heat oil in a pan put cumin and cook, now add the paste and saute for 3 mins.
- Add chili powder and salt,saute it again.
- Then add our boiled bottle gourd into the onion mixture.
- Cook for 5 mints then turn off the flame.
- Serve this bottle gourd curry with roti.
