Sabudaana wada
Ingredients (for 2 Servings)
- Sago - 1 cup
- Potatoes - boiled 4
- Peanuts - ½ cup
- Green chillies - 2 finely chopped
- Ginger - 1 inch piece finely chopped
- Coriander - 2-3 teaspoons finely chopped
- Rock Salt - to taste
- Oil or ghee – for fry
Recipe - How to make Saboodana Vada
- Wash and soak sago for 4-5 hours.
- Put a little ghee in a pan and fry the peanut
- Grind coarsely fried peanuts
- Peel the boiled potatoes and mash.
- Remove the excess water from soaked sago.
- Now mix well the soaked sago, groundnuts seeds, boiled potatoes, green
- Chilies, ginger, coriander and salt in a big pot.
- Now sago mixture is ready for vada. Make small bolls with the mixture.
- And press the bolls in between your palm to make oval vada shape.
- Now take oil in a heavy bottom woke and heat it.
- Fry the 3-4 vada at a time till golden brown color.
- Take out fried vada on the paper napkin, extra oil should be absorbed by the napkin.
- Similarly, fry all the vada.
- Your sago vadas are ready.
- Serve hot with coriander or mint chutney.
