Hakka Noodles
Ingredients (for 3-4 servings)
- 1 packet Hakka Noodles
- 4-5 spring onions, chopped
- 1 cup cabbage, shredded
- 1/4 cup beans chopped
- 1 cup thinly sliced multi colored capsicum (red, green, yellow)
- 1 medium carrot, chopped
- 2-3 garlic, finely minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp chilli sauce, as per taste (optional)
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- Oil 4 tbsp
- salt to taste
Method
- Boil (1 1/2 litre) water in a big pan, when water start boiling add, 2 spoon oil, salt and hakka noodles.
- When noodles cooked around 85-90%, remove from the heat and drain the water and wash with cold water.
- Drain it completely and keep aside.
- Now heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok until it smokes.
- Add the garlic, onion and saute few sec. now add capsicum, cabbage, carrots and beans.
- Stir continusely on high flame for 2 minutes.
- When vegetables start softening slightly, add the noodles, soya sauce, vinegar, salt, pepper, chilli sauce and mix well.
- Saute for another 2 mints and remove from the heat.
- Serve hot immediately with tomato ketcup.
