Kashmiri Paneer Tikka Masala

 

 

Ingredients (for 4-5 servings)

 

  • 300 gm paneer

  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves

  • 1 large onion

  • 1-1 small red and green capsicum

  • 2 large red tomato

  • ¼ cup almonds (soaked and remove skin)

  • ¼ cup raisin

  • ¼ cup fresh cream

  • ½ tsp garam masala

  • 2 whole red chilli

  • 2 tbsp ghee or butter

  • 1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder

  • Salt as per taste

 

For marinate

  • 1/2 cup fresh curd

  • ½ tsp garam masala

  • ½ tsp red chilli powder

  • ½ tsp pepper powder

  • ¼ tsp cumin powder

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • Salt as per taste

 

 

 

Method (How to make kashmiri paneer tikka masala)

 

  • Mix all marinating ingredients and make smooth paste.

  • Add paneer cubes and keep aside for 30-40 minutes.

  • Heat tawa or griddle and add some ghee or butter fry paneer cubes till crispy and light brown.

  • Heat oil in a pan add whole red chili sauté for few second, add onion cubes and capsicum cubes and sauté for few minutes. Add almonds and raisin.

  • Add chopped tomato and cook till tomato soft. Add marinate ingredients and cook for 2-3 minutes.

  • Add salt, chilli powder, cream and garam masala and mix well.

  • Add fried paneer cubes and switch off the flame.

  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with nan or chapati.
