Whole Wheat Flour Chocolate Chips Muffins

 

Ingredients(for 12 medium size muffins)

 

  • 1 cup wheat flour or (half wheat flour and half maida)
  • 1/3 cup sugar

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • ¼tsp baking soda

  • 1/8  tsp salt

  • 1/3 cup milk

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter

  • 1 egg

  • ½ tsp vanilla essence

  • 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips

 

Method (How to make whole wheat flour muffins)

  • Preheat the oven to 180 C.

  • Place the muffin liners in a muffin tin.

  • Shift all the dry ingredients except sugar and keep aside.

  • Add eggs to a bowl and beat them lightly, Add sugar and mix, Add milk, vanilla essence and melted butter. Mix everything well.

  • Now add flour mixture little by little at time and mix and stir well. Add the rest and stir just until combined well. Add choco chips and stir.

  • Pour the muffin batter to the liners equally. Tap to remove extra air and set them equally.

  • Bake for 15-18 minutes or till tooth pick inserted came out clean.

  • Remove from the oven and cool them on a wire rack.

  • Top them with some butter cream frost and serve.
