Corn Pakoda – Bhutte ke pakode

 

 

 

Ingredients (for 4 servings)

  • 2 cup sweet corn kernels

  • ½ cup finely chopped capsicum

  • ½ cup finely chopped onion

  • 4 tbsp rice flour

  • 2 green chilli

  • ½ inch piece of ginger

  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves

  • Salt as per taste

  • Oil for frying

 

 

Method  (How to make corn pakoda)

 

  • Coarsely grind sweet corn kernels with ginger and green chillies.

  • Add rice flour, finely chopped capsicum, coriander leaves and salt, mix well and make small patties.

  • Heat oil in a deep pan or wok, deep-fry 8 to 10 at a time on a high flame till they turn golden brown in colour from all the sides.

  • Serve hot with green chutney and tomato ketchup.
