Coconut and Mint Chutney

 

Ingredients

  • Coconut - 1 cup (grated)
  • Chillies – 3
  • Mint leaves - ½ cup
  • Fried Gram -1½tbsp
  • Tamarind pulp – ½tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 2 tbsp

For the seasoning

  • Mustard -1/4 tsp
  • Urad dal - 1/4 tsp
  • Curry leaves - a little
  • Pour oil in pan and sout mint leaves for 1 minut.
  • And grind all ingredients with water and salt.
  • Heat a tsp of oil and add the urad dal, mustard and curry leaves. and pour over the grainded chutny.
  • Serve this chutny with idly, dosa, vada or anything of your choice.
