Cashew-Kaju Barfi


  • 1 kg cashew
  • 750 g sugar Power
  • 7-8 cardamom powder
  • Silver-foil 1-2


Soak the Cashew in water for 4-5 hours.

Grind the soaked cashew and make a paste.

Mix sugar with paste.

Take a heavy   bottom pan heat the paste on low flame.

Stir the past until thickened and add the Cardamom powder.

When you see that the mixture became dry all around inside the pan then turn off the gas.

Take out mixture in the tray and spread it evenly.

After cooling down the mixture put the silver foil on it and cut as per your favorite shape and serve.
