Gulab Jamun



  • Mawa (Milk Solid) 300 g
  • Maida (refined flour) 50 grams
  • Soda bi carbonate ½ tsp
  • 600 grams of sugar
  • Ghee for frying dumplings


Take milk solid (Mawa), soda bi carbonate and refind flour in a large pot, knead properly like soft flour.

Make small lemon size ball with the kneaded flour.

Now put all sugar in deep pan and 1 ½ cup water boil 10-15 minuts. The sugar syrup is ready.

Heat the oil in a pan.

Take one ball in hand and make proper ball with it; it should not be crack in any side.

Put ball in oil and fry until golden brown.

After frying the balls immediately put the ball in the sugar syrup.

Let the balls in sugar syrup for 4 to 5 hr.

The Gulab Jamun is ready.
