Arhar Dal Fry - Toor Dal fry recipe

 

Ingredients

 

·         1 cup toor dal

·         2 tsp ghee

·         1 pinch asafoetida

·         ½ teaspoon cumin

·         1/4 teaspoon turmeric

·         1/4 teaspoon chilli powder

·         Salt to taste

·         1 onion finely chopped

·         2 garlic finely chopped

·         1 teaspoon grated ginger

·         2 tomatoes, finely chopped

·         2 tbsp chopped coriander

 

How to make dal fry recipe

 

·         Wash the dal pour in pressure cooker add three cups of water, turmeric, salt and cook on the gas.

·         After a vessel turn low the gas and cook 5 minutes.

·         Heat the ghee in a pan and add the asafetida and Cumin once the cumin turn brown add the onion till light golden brown.

·         Now add the ginger and garlic and stir for two min and then add tomato and stir till oil separated from the mixture.

·         Add the red chili and boiled dal and cook till dal start boiling.

·         Turn off the gas and garnish with coriander leaves.

·         Serve with rice or roti.
