Kofta in Green Gravy


For Kofta

1/2 cupbottle gourd grated

1/2 cup cabbage grated

3/4 cup gramflour

1 tsp green chilly and ginger paste

salt as per taste

oil for frying

for gravy

1 cup fresh spinach chopped

1 tbls mint leaves

2 greenchillies

1 tbls coriander leaves

2 tbls onion paste

1/2 cup tomato paste

2 tsp ginger-garlic paste

2 clove

1-2 bayleaves

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 tsp redchilli powder

1/2 tspcoriander powder

1/2 tspgaram masala

2 tbls freshcream

2 tbls oil

salt as pertaste


For kofta

Mix grated bottlegourd and grated cabbage, add gram flour salt, ginger chilli paste make softdough.

Make smallball with the mixture.

Now heat oilin awok, and deep fry till golden brown.

For gravy

Make pasteofspinach, mint leaves, coriander leaves and green chilli.

Now heat oilin a pan add clove and bay leaves.

Now addonion paste and fry till oil separate.

Add spinachpaste and fry for few minutes, now add tomato paste along with turmeric powder,coriander powder, chilly powder and salt and cook till oil separate.

Now add halfof the fresh cream and 1 cup water and cook till start boiling.

Just before serving heat the gravy add garam masala and kofta balls.

Decoratewith fresh cream and serve hot with chapati or nan.
